A day in the life….

What can I say? I’ve noticed these lately on facebook and thought they were pretty hilarious. I decided to make my own meme based on what I live & breathe everyday as an RD. As a Dietitian in private practice, my friends & family always wonder what I spend my time doing. No, I do not spend every morning drinking coffee and catching up on the latest Academy Journal. Of course my  mom sees me as a rock star…..who doesn’t love that? The inflated version of myself would like to say I speak & present like Michelle Obama considering all the attention she has called to childhood obesity this year.  Not to mention that most people who aren’t familiar with dietitians see us as the “food police.” Last but not least, the confessional. It does not matter where I am or what I’m doing. Once somebody finds out that I’m a dietitian, I become a pastor/priest listening to the confessions of dietary sins. This is dedicated my RD friends.
